FAQ: DOES GROUND UP BLOW MULCH?
No, we do not blow mulch when installing mulch for our customers.
We have found that many customers do not favor blown mulch as it is often inadvertently applied in places where fine particles of mulch are difficult to remove such as in the small crevices of brick walls or in the fine foliage of shrubs. In addition, blown mulch can often be applied unevenly so that it is too thick in some places and too thin in others.
At Ground Up, we apply mulch by hand – using pitchforks and rakes just like you would do yourself – to ensure a more even application without all the overspray of mulch that can make walls and plants look dirty. We might take a little longer than our competitors who blow mulch but we get the job done right.
Whether you want some mulch to improve the look of your planting beds or
you need to address an erosion issue, we can help.
